WordPress Softaculous Restore/Backup – Great Disaster Recovery Tool

It’s essential to always backup your important information. Is your blog/website using WordPress as your content management system (CMS)? Yes? Don’t worry! Softaculous backup can run a restore when disasters/attack takes place.

There are two ways to run a restore:

Step 1: Login to cPanel

Step 2: Click on the WordPress under Softaculous

Step 3: Click the “Backup and Restore” button on the upper right of the page.

Step 4: You should able to see your backup record if you have enabled WordPress Auto-Backup in advance as below.

Step 5: Click on the “Restore” button to restore your previous data/backup.

Second option: Manually Backup with Softaculous

Step 1: Back up to your Softaculous -> WordPress

Step 2: Click on the button as shown below

Step 3: Proceed with backup in the final step.
